“How much will it cost?” is a reasonable question when considering a wallpaper project. But with so many factors involved, Julie Young, the Wallpaper Lady, hesitates to quote a price until she has seen the room in person. Then she can give a price, based on the size of the room, difficulty of the job, type of paper, special materials or equipment required, travel time, and other factors.
Drop cloths? Removal of old paper? Primer? New, sharp razor blades? Experience? Trustworthiness? Rest assured that Julie will not cut corners or skimp on materials or time; her goal is to provide the best job and best service possible. If another installer’s quote is cheap, ask what is he NOT providing?
"If you pay peanuts, you get monkeys." James Goldsmith
“Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten.” Gucci Family Slogan
"There is hardly anything in the world that someone cannot make a little worse and sell a little cheaper, and the people who consider price alone are that person's lawful prey. It's unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little.” John Ruskin’s The Common Law of Business Balance
